I woke up this morning hearing this very simple phrase: “Shake the snake off into the fire, people of God. Shake the snake off into the fire.”
I believe this word is for those who have been through a season where the attack of the enemy has been relentless, trying to bite and sting you from multiple angles. Now, I’ll be honest, it’s come through people. It’s come through intentional Christian witchcraft, people seeking to control, manipulate, and manage you, people seeking to poison your decision-making, leading you astray for their own benefit.
Now, we understand that people aren’t our enemy. We don’t wrestle with flesh and blood, but rather with principalities and powers. Still, this has been a season where it’s hard to ignore that the enemy has triggered weak, insecure people, and those who have been in agreement with him, into siding with him in accusation against you. Not only that, but they’ve tried to bring you into subjugation and alignment with their compromised will.
